Here Iphone also facilitate a rear dual camera of 12mp whereas Pixel 2 XL gives 12mp single camera but both of the phones support portrait mode.
Also Iphone X gave a revolution to security by facilitating unique face ID to open your phones and Pixel 2 XL gives us that old fast fingerprint sensor

Also pixel 2 XL gives 8mp front facing cameras and Iphones comes with 7mp front facing camera, both camera has autofocus.
Also Pixel 2 XL gives preety good battery life that is  3520mah non removable battery and Iphone comes with 2716mah non removable battery.
